WAGH BAKRI CORPORATE OFFICE AT AHMEDABAD

The corporate office of Gujarat Tea Depot, a subsidiary of Wagh Bakri Tea Brand, is located in Capston building on 9th floor on the cross road of Ellisbridge Area. The office premises is open on three sides, which forms the basis of design to exploit natural views of gareden areas (Law Garden) in the vicinity. The west facing side has Director’s cabin, conference hall and store to partly offset the heat coming to the core working area, which consists of three cubicles and 12 workstations.

As large storage space was required for every workstation, the storages are hanged from slab above with lights below to illuminate work area. It also provides diffused lighting to the whole area. Color palette of golden brown and green is used which represent the tea colors. The back wall is painted with light green color which unifies the whole area which is largely of brown and wooden shades. The strong room is provided on north east side as per Vastu. The design of the full height wooden storages on internal walls, looks like pattern on the paneling.

The story of Gandhiji and start of Wagh bakri brand is depicted in the interior design of the office, which emphasizes the group’s belief in values and simplicity.
